During the pandemic, Harvey Norman doubled their profits to $462 million. It's got their billionaire founder Gerry Harvey laughing all the way to the bank, whilst he refuses to payback the $22 million they pocketed in JobKeeper payments. 

JobKeeper was meant for workers. Not for huge corporations to pay bonuses to their CEOs for private jets.

  • Harvey Norman pocketed $22 million in JobKeeper payments, whilst their pandemic profits doubled to $438 million. 
  • Founder and Chairman Gerry Harvey declared he wasn't going to pay back JobKeeper in Febuary, declaring the $22 million a 'tiny amount of money'.
  • Harvey Norman are reported to be opposing a 3.5% minimum wage increase for their workers, in the same year they've recorded record profits. It's lead to protests out the front of their stores.
  • Companies like Toyota, Dominoes and Nick Scali have already paid back JobKeeper.
  • If all the profiteering companies paid back JobKeeper, we could raise $1 billion. That's $1 bil that could be spent on public housing, federal quarrantine centres, and getting dental and mental into medicare.
